Toledo government gives Fiat Chrysler secret proposal to help build new plant

"Chrysler will not be building a new plant for the Wrangler."

Mar 12, 2015 - Toledo Blade - Fiat Chrysler vows to weigh city’s offer

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is making no promises to keep the Jeep Wrangler in Toledo, but a company spokesman on Wednesday promised that company officials would be analyzing the package of incentives being assembled by the city of Toledo.

“We are continuing to study the business case with regard to Wrangler production and will take the state of Ohio and city of Toledo’s proposal into consideration,” Fiat Chrysler spokesman Jodi Tinson said Wednesday.

The city has not released details of its proposal.

Fiat Chrysler will not pay to build a new plant, but they may accept "our" offer to pay for a new plant.
