I have no use for Carty at all but if he is going to get tickets then they should go in the south end and start ticketing these people that are walking in the middle of the street ...
That's fine, but are they running for political office? And if elected, do they plan to meet with area business leaders and officials? Could they affect Toledo's national image? Will they promote policy that could impact businesses and residents? Will they create a budget on how taxpayer money should be spent? Do they want to implement unigov in Lucas County?
Will they be summoned to meet with the Blade editorial board?
The theory is that politicians are held to a higher standard.
But then again, if it's okay for a three-term mayor to violate laws, then it should be okay for any citizen.
In the Bizarro World, a totalitarian figure like Carty represents the anarchist wing of the anarchist party.
