Toledo area shopping - Sat, Mar 15, 2014
We left home around 9:00 a.m. and returned home around 2:00 - 2:30 p.m. Another fine day visiting and shopping at local businesses.
- Toledo Farmers Market- bread
- coffee beans
- apples
- salad greens
- and maybe one or two other items
 
- Black Kite Coffee- we shared two dishes: french toast with cherries and real whipped cream and a polenta dish that also contained a fried egg, grilled portabella, tomato, spinach, fresh basil, mozzarella, and tasty balsamic reduction
 
- Titgemeier's- bought a 50-pound bag of white millet
- we surveyed the beer-making supplies
 
- Yarn Envy- nice yarn shop
- our first visit
- at least a dozen people hanging out knitting with a couple possibly taking a class
- large yarn selection
- located in Ottawa Lake, Michigan
- north on Secor Rd
- left or west on Stearns Rd a mile or two
- we bought some yarn
 
- Yarn Company- small yarn shop
- located on Secor Rd between Sylvania and Laskey
- browsed and spoke with the owner who provides free lessons on Saturdays until June. She's closed on Saturdays in the summer.
- I went back and bought yarn on Mon, Mar 17.
